Respecting Your Rights

Empowering Futures Health Support Services follows the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1988, as well as the standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

We make sure information about privacy and confidentiality is provided in a way that participants can understand, including easy-read formats, accessible communication, and interpreters where required.

Your Information

Any personal or health information collected helps us understand your needs so we can provide the right support.

This information is:

• Collected with your consent

• Stored securely

• Only accessed by staff directly involved in your support

• Protected from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access

If recordings (audio or visual) are ever required, your written consent will always be requested first.

Respect in Everyday Support

Our staff respect each participant’s home, belongings, independence, and personal choices. Support is always delivered in a way that protects privacy and promotes dignity, whether in the home, in the community, or during activities.
